This is one of those images where the question is not what to include, but what to exclude. Granted, that is generally the more important question in photography. The contrast between the strong, static object to its fluid, ever-changing surrounding is one often captured in minimalist photography. But where do those lines come from? They allude to something - some unknown object relying on the steadfastness of the old, worn lump of wood in that same ever-changing environment.
