This is an image of the pier in Åhus, Sweden, on a rare occasion where no people were out to enjoy it. The swooping lines seem to drag you with them into the vastness of eternity, this feeling than only the empty horizon of the sea can give you, It took some painstaking attention to detail to achieve the symmetry of the image, so I felt it was worth naming it accordingly.
It is captured on Ilford HP5+ film, with a Chroma six17 camera and a 150mm FujinonW large format lens..
Printed on Hahnemühle PhotoRag® Bright White with Epson SC-P900 and Epson original inks.
Custom sizes available upon request.
